Is The Vaccine Effective Enough ?
In most researches, the Gardasil was 100% effective in preventing pre-cancerous changes in the cervix caused by HPV types 16 and 18. Gardasil was also shown to be nearly 100% effective in preventing vulvar and vaginal pre-cancers and genital warts caused by HPV types 6 and 11.
Cervarix was tested in girls not yet exposed to HPV types 16 and 18, it was 93% effective in preventing pre-cancerous changes in the cervix caused by HPV types 16 and 18.
Both vaccines are less effective in young women who have already come in contact with the HPV types in the vaccine. However, if a young woman has been exposed only to one of the types, the vaccine still gives protection against the remaining types. So, even young women who have had sexual contact should get immunized.
**this is why younger females should go for the second and third shots after their first one

hi partner :)
ReplyDeletewell, based on my free reading , there's a lot advantages in taking the vaccine .
let's us think like there's no box ( instead of out of the box .. hahaha )
ok wada, just imagine , our goverment spend billions on this vaccination ... and fortunately, 13 years old girls can take the shots for FREEE !! HAHAHA cool izzit ?
oh yes , in addition , they're getting 3-shots-package for free . compared to other country like Canada or United States, they have to pay for every shot of Gardasil/Cervarix.
ReplyDeleteso lucky us , ;)
did you find other " out-of-the-box-advantages " ?
ReplyDeletehahaha , eja eja .
ReplyDeleteother advantage is HPV vaccine may prevent formation of cancerous cell in cervix especially for females who never experienced sexual activity.
so that mean , 13 y/old girl (basically never had sex) can avoid pre-cancerous stage in their body cell from the younger age ,,,
easy to understood ;
ReplyDeleteno sex + HPV vaccine = can prevent HPV virus infection
everything in this world has PROS n CONS .
